It goes without saying that Seth and I love to photograph weddings, it’s an amazing opportunity and privilege to capture the celebration of love and commitment.  With that being said; our favorite shoots tend to be the more laid-back engagement photo session.  The engagement season is often a forgotten season of life, maybe it’s because of all the planing and business of the upcoming big day.  This is why we value spending time with the couple in a more natural/comfortable setting while interacting with them on a more personal level.

Paul and Ellen are an amazing couple that we adore and are excited to hang out with again. In getting to know them, we discovered that they both love the outdoors while simultaneously loving the Urban grit and vibe that Seattle has to offer. Hopefully Seth and I were able to capture that uniquely Seattle dynamic in this Engagement session.

Hi there and happy Monday….

Today I am posting a wedding that took place on October 28, 2011 on a cold, wet, quintessential seattle day. We had the absolute pleasure of photographing Haewon and Jeremi a Capital Hill native couple at Herban Feast in Sodo Park, what Seattle bride Magazine awarded “Best Quintessential Seattle are Reception site” of 2011. This stunning wedding had 2 ceremonies, first starting with a traditional american wedding followed by a traditional Korean Wedding Celebration.

It was a wet October Saturday, however, during the “first look” the sun broke through the clouds to shine while this couple was able to see each other for the first time on their wedding day as the exchanged their vows in front of close family and friends. It was a great party, filled with lots of love!
