This specific family is near and dear to my heart.  Juliet gave me the honor to photograph the beauty of maternity and the precious newborn moments a few months later.  Now as Juliet and Justin transition away from Washington to Davis CA, I  was able to capture their last week in Seattle.

Its pretty wet more days than not here in Seattle and this was no exception. Kate & Josh braved the rain for a fabuously wet photo shoot!

Making the best of another soggy, Seattle day. Oh Seattle how I love you….

We recently had the absolute pleasure of photographing this beautiful family.  One of the things that Seth and I keep getting reminded of in this business is that we are blessed by each encounter with families and couples.

Photography gives us the opportunity to spend time with people we might not normally get to and in each of these encounters we see love in a unique and special way. This family was no exception.  Life is so joyful when you welcome a little girl into to the world and here we are welcoming baby Lua.

Its no secret that I love taking pictures, but what I equally enjoy is getting to spend time with the people I am privileged to take pictures of. My camera has been an instrument in the start of many beautiful relationships and this couple is a prime example. What stated as a photo shoot has turned into a fabulous relationship.
