This specific family is near and dear to my heart. Juliet gave me the honor to photograph the beauty of maternity and the precious newborn moments a few months later. Now as Juliet and Justin transition away from Washington to Davis CA, I was able to capture their last week in Seattle.

Its pretty wet more days than not here in Seattle and this was no exception. Kate & Josh braved the rain for a fabuously wet photo shoot!

I have had the absolute pleasure of photographing this family over the past year, from maternity, birth to 6 months old. Now miss Malia turned one and I was able to capture them again and it was another beautiful day at their Green Lake home.
This session was one of my favorite belly sessions, with one of my favorite people and at my favorite place in Seattle. Session took place at Discovery Park, I love Discovery because it is just a quick 10 min drive from the city and it feels like you are in the middle of no-where. This obviously took place several months ago when it was not quite so frigid here and the sunlight was perfect. Juliet and Justin have since welcomed miss Josefina into the world and she if perfect.
