Mo Hines Photography is going through some very exciting transitions this year, stay tuned for more on that.

Until then here is a recent Engagement session with a beautiful couple. We were given the opportunity to capture Nawid and Kelly’s love of Seattle, The Sounders, and most importantly their genuine love for each other.

We had the honor to photograph Chase and Maria while celebrating their engagement in Ballard this past summer.

In getting to know this couple on a more personal level we really wanted to be able to capture their individual personalities  while also tying in their fun dynamic as a couple.

We thought Discovery Park & Ballard would be a perfect backdrop for this fun and engaging couple. In our opinion the perfect place to end a great photo session is over Sushi, something that the two of them love to do together.

Here is a little flavor of this Seattle couple.

It goes without saying that Seth and I love to photograph weddings, it’s an amazing opportunity and privilege to capture the celebration of love and commitment.  With that being said; our favorite shoots tend to be the more laid-back engagement photo session.  The engagement season is often a forgotten season of life, maybe it’s because of all the planing and business of the upcoming big day.  This is why we value spending time with the couple in a more natural/comfortable setting while interacting with them on a more personal level.

Paul and Ellen are an amazing couple that we adore and are excited to hang out with again. In getting to know them, we discovered that they both love the outdoors while simultaneously loving the Urban grit and vibe that Seattle has to offer. Hopefully Seth and I were able to capture that uniquely Seattle dynamic in this Engagement session.

Seth and I had the pleasure of meeting this couple last year and I never had the chance to blog about it, now the wedding count down is on. They are getting married next month in Carmel CA and we cannot wait. They were so much fun to photograph and we are excited to photograph them again on their big day. Congratulations Mike & Mary!

Our beautiful couple was from out of town so we took them to some favorite Seattle spots. If you live in Seattle and have not been to these spots they are a must…..

Another shoot from the wildflowers workshop……

Back in June I had the privilege of attending a workshop hosted by Wildflowers Photography. www.wildflowersphotos.com.  Joy worked with this couple and designed this gorgeous Dollhouse shoot and we got to photograph it. The light was beautiful, the couple was gorgeous and the love was just infections. He proposed and she said yes.!

What is a “trash the dress session”?  Don’t worry brides, it’s not throwing your dress in the mud and letting a truck run over it! It is a celebration of the moment, it’s a time to get back into your wedding attire and have a romantic moment that is real and raw.

This couple happens to be celebrating 2 years of marriage and they still have that sparkle. We had the opportunity to have this shoot on the 1ST Seattle sunny day of 2011.

When the sun came out in the morning Seth conceptualized our day with Ben and Jess. With their personalities we wanted to capture the light coming through a huge window of an old building. Seth chose Union Station in Pioneer Square and we were fortunate enough to have a few moments of solitude within the building. The moments we were able to capture were quite and calm.  Here are a few images from the first half of our day. Stay tuned for the second half of our day as Seth’s vision continues on a sunny day in Seattle with this gorgeous couple.

-Thank you Ben and Jess

We love and adore you both!
