What is a “trash the dress session”? Don’t worry brides, it’s not throwing your dress in the mud and letting a truck run over it! It is a celebration of the moment, it’s a time to get back into your wedding attire and have a romantic moment that is real and raw.
This couple happens to be celebrating 2 years of marriage and they still have that sparkle. We had the opportunity to have this shoot on the 1ST Seattle sunny day of 2011.
When the sun came out in the morning Seth conceptualized our day with Ben and Jess. With their personalities we wanted to capture the light coming through a huge window of an old building. Seth chose Union Station in Pioneer Square and we were fortunate enough to have a few moments of solitude within the building. The moments we were able to capture were quite and calm. Here are a few images from the first half of our day. Stay tuned for the second half of our day as Seth’s vision continues on a sunny day in Seattle with this gorgeous couple.
-Thank you Ben and Jess
We love and adore you both!
Anyone who has been keeping up with Mo Hines Photography knows that I recently joined forces with the Owner of Bow Tie & Bustle; the extremely talented Jenn Blake.
Recently Jenn and a brilliant group of talented women collaborated on a “Bridal Inspiration Shoot” inspired by Montmartre France as the backdrop. Montmartre is a 20 minute metro ride outside the center of Paris and is an area of the city that has this raw, dark, whimsical feel. My words alone cannot do justice to the inspiration of this project. Jenn had the opportunity to spend last summer in Montmartre. And France doing what France can only do; inspired a brave individual to reach inside and find the magnificent artist dormant inside, this blog entry represents Mantmarte’s inspirational force. I was blessed with the opportunity to help make this project a reality for Jenn.

We have spent the last two months on this project and I’m excited to give a little preview of what we were able to interpret from her vision.
